Vermont and Ft. Ticondiroga

The Vermont state capital in Montpelier. It was build in the 1850s and is still beautiful!

We visited the Shelburne Museum in the Birmingham area. The museum is actually an old town with lots of neat buildings and exhibits.

The round barn at the Shelburne Museum.

I took this because I thought of Mom, she would have loved this exhibit.

From the point at Ft. Ticondiroga with all the cannon and toward Mt. Defiance. The cannon look out onto Lake Champlaign.

Our guide and another gentleman did a black powder demonstration. This is what it looked like when they fired at the same time.

This is an original building in the fort. It was the officer's quarters.

This is the fort from the lake side.

I had to get this shot for Koby, Dean, Karson, and Grayson. This is just packed full of arrowheads! Pretty cool!
