The White Mountains, North Conway, New Hampshire

The Mt. Washington Cog Railway. What a beautiful trip up the mountain. I loved listening to our bus driver on our way here, he had quite an accent.
At the top. Mt. Washington is fogged in 60% of the time. Yes, it was foggy!
During Hurricane Isaac this river changed its course by over 40 feet! It was a pretty stream when we went by.

Can you see all the color on the mountain on the other side of the valley? After awhile "your eyes hurt" there is so much to see and it's so beautiful!
Just lots of color where ever you look.

I thought this looked very New England with the little white church and the color of the trees.

This was a beautiful waterfall on the way home from the Cog train.
This is the view down the mountain from the upper waterfall below.

This is the other beautiful waterfall we stopped to see.

Covered bridges. Yes, they still drive across some of them. One we saw had been turned into a store, but some were like this one. Now we're off to Vermont.
