Animals in Denali

We saw 4 different grizzly bears

Grizzly bear 

We saw lots of caribou. This one got out of the way finally, but just stood at the side of the road.

This is how you usually see game.

Another grizzly bear 

This caribou was right next to the road and posed for pictures for quite some time.

This is a ptarmigan, the chicken looking bird that Chicken was named for (they couldn't spell ptarmigan!) We also saw a moose, lots of ground squirrels, fall sheep, and lots of birds. Great day!! By the time we got back to where our first glimpse of Denali was, it was socked in with clouds!
